Dye sublimation allows photo lab quality picture printing on a variety of substrates and materials. During the sublimation process, an image is first digitally printed on a carrier with special inks. The image is then subject to heat and pressure to allow the ink to “sublimate”--the process of a substance changing from a solid to a gas without ever becoming a liquid. The gas then flows into the substrate creating a beautiful and permanent image.
